Hillit Wahlberg is a ceramic artist based in Denver, Colorado, and the owner of ALL MUDDY - Ceramics Handmade to Imperfection. 

 

Originally from Tel Aviv, Israel, Hillit has been working with clay since 2019 when she first took on the throwing wheel. An early career in media and later on in tech kept this passion as a side hobby for a while, but since the summer of 2021, Hillit has been gradually shifting into the world of clay as a full-time job. She’s growing ALL MUDDY as a small business out of her small-batch home studio and serves as studio manager and kiln technician at Urban Mud, a local ceramic studio for members. 

 

Though her first love is for making minimal functional pieces on the pottery wheel, Hillit is also creating sculptural work and conceptual art that combines both the wheel and hand-building techniques. She’s drawn to geometric shapes, natural tones, and minimal forms and her love of clay is extended to teaching, creating, and experimenting with this beautiful natural soil material.
