Hillit Wahlberg, Ceramic Artist
Hillit Wahlberg, a Denver-based ceramic artist, and the visionary behind ALL MUDDY - Ceramics Handmade to Imperfection, brings a unique blend of creativity and craftsmanship to her work.
Exhibitions of Hillit's work can be found in collections such as The Curtis Center for the Arts, The Arvada Center Galleries, Art Student League of Denver, SeeSaw Art Gallery, BRDG Project Gallery, and Urban Mud Gallery in Denver.
Originating from Tel Aviv, Israel, Hillit’s journey with clay began at a young age, culminating in her exploration of the throwing wheel in 2019. While pursuing a career in media and later in tech, her passion for ceramics remained a cherished hobby until the summer of 2021, when she boldly decided to transition into clay full-time, nurturing ALL MUDDY from her intimate home studio.
Specializing in minimalist functional pieces crafted on the pottery wheel, Hillit’s artistic vision transcends traditional boundaries, embracing sculptural and conceptual expressions that seamlessly blend wheel and hand-building techniques. Her creations, characterized by geometric precision, earthy hues, and understated elegance, reflect her deep reverence for the medium.
